20 Top Podcasts For Real Estate Brokers in 2023

Published by Brian E Adams on

The last decade is sadly littered with defunct and expired podcasts. It’s hard to sustain good podcasts. Perhaps the folks behind some of these great podcasts below will have moved on within a few years.

I hope not, because these are some fantastic podcasts that I listen to and highly recommend if you are a tech-savvy real estate agent.

I listen to most of these on my phone app Podcast Addict.

Quite a few of these are sister and cousin podcasts produced by the Industry Syndicate, a media company dedicated to supporting real estate podcasts. As of this writing, they have produced 25 different real estate industry podcasts!

List of Best Real Estate Podcasts

Industry Relations

Somehow this one slips through all the other lists of best real estate podcasts. But there are probably none more thought-provoking and engaging than the Industry Relations podcast.

This podcast is hosted by Rob Hahn (Yes, the Notorious ROB), and Greg Robertson, founder of CloudCMA and the suite of tech real estate services under the W+R Studios umbrella.

These two are real estate industry insiders who know a tremendous amount about the games behind the scenes. They have very well-educated thoughts on the latest industry news and the latest on some of the macro technology trends facing the industry. It is a must-listen for anyone who cares about the future of our industry in ten years.

Real Estate Rockstars

Pat Hiban is the grandaddy of real estate podcasts with his popular podcast Real Estate Rockstars.

But if you somehow haven’t heard of him, maybe you remember the brouhaha with Tracy Tutor of Million Dollar Listing.

Pat Hiban is a prolific and award-winning podcaster who has interviewed successful agents and professionals like Tom Ferry, Barbara Corcoran, and Robert Kiyosaki. He’s the author of the book 6 Steps to 7 Figures: A Real Estate Professional’s Guide to Building Wealth and Creating Your Own Destiny. His podcasts are under 30 minutes and very worthwhile!

He brought on a second podcast host, Aaron Amuchastegui, in 2019. Aaron hosts most of the podcasts now.

Pat makes money selling his sales courses at Rebus University, where you can choose from a variety of training modules depending on your needs.

Real Estate Marketing Dude

Hosted by Mike Cuevas, the “unprofessional professional” per his podcast intro, Mike is one of several “dudes” and “dudettes” at the Real Estate Marketing Dude.

This company provides video, marketing, and branding services for real estate agents, and includes courses and training on things like creating video marketing campaigns.

As any podcast on modern marketing, they touch on technology and tech tools frequently.

Real Estate Sessions

Not sure how this podcast escaped my radar until a reader here at Hooquest suggested it to me! I am glad she did! It is fantastic!

Bill Risser interviews real estate professionals.

But unlike most podcasts, he focuses not only on top producers but on the industry professionals that serve agents: vendors, creatives, and C suite executives. This is a fresh twist that will expand your podcast experience beyond “7 ways to earn more Instagram followers” and really dive into our industry.

Tech Nest: The Proptech Podcast

Tech Nest is hosted by Nate Smoyer and is one of the most unique and essential podcasts you can listen to, especially if you are a real estate techie.

He interviews members of the proptech space: software CEOs, engineers, and more.

He took a break from the podcast while working for several companies in the proptech world, but has resumed the podcast as of 2022, which is fantastic! It’s one of the best.

Agent Rise

Neil Mathweg is a coach and agent whose podcast (formerly the Onion Juice) has been very popular. In addition to his private one-on-one coaching clients, he also hosts the Agent Rise PLUS Facebook group and eCourse library, a premium group at $49/mo. The older Onion Juice podcasts are still available as well, of course. Episodes are relatively short at under a half-hour.

F.I.R.E.D Up

Krista Mashore is an active real estate team lead, coach, and podcaster! If you’re not into podcasting, she has a very active YouTube channel as well with her podcasts and training.

GSD Mode

The Get S*** Done (GSD) Mode podcast is a no BS hour-long show on residential real estate. Many of their episodes are on YouTube. Hosted by Joshua Smith, many episodes get into the weeds of tech and how-tos. Joshua also provides free webinars and training, as well as premium real estate coaching.

High Performance

This podcast with Australian coaches Josh Phegan and Alexander Phillips are short episodes of less than ten minutes each. Their coaching site also offers free training in addition to their paid private coaching client services. Unlike most other podcasts which are often 45 minutes or longers, these short episodes are perfect for short commutes or a motivational moment.

Keeping it Real

Keeping It Real, not to be confused with the Real Geeks podcast by the same name, is a podcast hosted by D J Paris. This Chicago broker’s podcast focuses on an interview format with a target audience of other real estate brokers. He includes a “Learning with a Lender” monthly series that talks about the latest and greatest in lending so that agents are up to speed on mortgages.

Massive Agent Podcast

Dustin Brohm in Salt Lake City hosts the Massive Agent Podcast. His episodes are longer, at about an hour or more, perfect for long car journeys or mowing the lawn with the volume turnt.

Master Mind Agent

In each episode (two each month), host Mike Cerrone interviews a top producer for about an hour. He goes more in-depth into the agent’s business more than you will find with any other podcast and is arguably the best and most thorough real estate podcast available. Instead of highbrow concepts, you get detailed and actionable advice on how to improve your business.

Real Estate Coaching Radio

Tim and Julie Harris have a prolific coaching agency teaching lead generation, marketing, market news, and, of course, a podcast. They have a very active YouTube I highly recommend following!

Real Estate Uncensored

Real Estate Uncensored is an hour of talk and interviews hosted by Greg McDaniel and Matt Johnson. Their business practice is focused on paid leads, PPC campaigns, building teams, and working the phones. They take the “uncensored” quite literally, be warned!

Real Trending

REAL Trends is a consulting firm that also puts out industry publications and … a podcast! The podcast serves as a sort of tech and industry roundup that touches on the recent stories and market trends, and is a worthwhile addition if you want a easy, audio way of digesting the most recent real estate developments

Team Building Podcast

Matt Johnson, who also participates in another good podcast Real Estate Uncensored, hosts the Team Building Podcast along with Jeffrey Cohn which focuses on the best practices as applies to real estate teams. It is fantastic information, even for agents who don’t lead teams, on best practices of managing your real estate business.

The HyperFast Agent Podcast

Grow your hyperlocal business with the hyperfast show! Their format is a little different, featuring the recorded presentations of different speakers and coaches, generally within half an hour.

The Kevin and Fred Show

Formerly Next Level Agents, this podcast is hosted by Kevin Kauffman and Fred Weaver. Their coaching enterprise spun off from their popular Facebook group, and even includes an annual convention in Las Vegas! Their podcast features frequent interviews, including touching on many of the latest and greatest real estate tech companies.

Top Agents Playbook

Ray Wood is an Aussie transplant in Canada and host of the Top Agents Playbook. This show follows the interview format, talking with top real estate producers in residential real estate. Ray is a busy entrepreneur as a co-founder of the CRM LockedOn, marketing software Jigglar, and founder/trainer at BestAgentsHQ. This is someone deeply connected with the real estate tech world. Episodes are approximately an hour.

Yes Talk

If you are like me, Kevin Ward was one of the first industry people you ran into while trying to learn this business. He is everywhere! Known first and foremost for his scripts and objection handling, he also has a podcast that is all about getting to “YES”!

Conclusion

I love podcasts. Especially for a long trip, or driving to meet a buyer on the opposite side of town, it is a fun way to keep my brain engaged and eyes on the road.

These are the best real estate podcasts I listen to, and I hope will help you in your business!
