My recent encounter with Set Schedule, a real estate lead generation company, left me extremely disappointed and frustrated. After considering their program for the second time and reluctantly deciding to invest upfront money, I expected a more professional and respectful experience. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met.
To make matters worse, when I expressed my dissatisfaction and declined their services, the salesperson I was speaking with displayed a shocking lack of professionalism. Instead of understanding my concerns or attempting to address them, the salesperson became defensive and impolite. They even had the audacity to tell me to never reach out or call them again, accusing me of wasting their time. Such behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the company as a whole.
It is evident that Set Schedule relies on a one-minute sales pitch, hoping to entice potential customers into signing up without thoroughly considering the program’s details. This approach is not only misleading but also disrespectful to customers who seek a genuine understanding of the services provided.
Pros
There are no pros with this company. They are a scam to the core! They set you up with a too-good-to-be-true sales pitch and take your $1700 and then give you the worst “leads” you can possibly imagine. Want to get hung up on, questioned on how you got someone’s number, or find out someone is deceased? Go with SetSchedule! They will quickly respond with “you just don’t know how to convert leads” and refuse to give your money back! Don’t feel bad if you’ve already been scammed by them, the most seasoned agents such as myself did too. But have you ever come across a company that doesn’t give the money back if you’re truly dissatisfied? A scam doesn’t!
Con
They ARE cons! Pure scam! Do not get their service, and if you get caught up with their sales pitch and pay them, claim its a fraudulent charge because the rest of us out here putting together a lawsuit sure wish we had done it that way. They refuse to give the money back of hundreds of angry agents.

complete failure
This was sent to SetSchedule when I finally gave up. I thought someone with a better attitude might be interested in how I was treated.
I received your nice note yesterday, thanks, at least someone responded.
“Gerald we have had multiple conversations in the past regarding your refund request and the answer has been the same and will remain the same.”
Dhaman, I thought as a parting shot, I thought would give you a little background on me. You may not care, but maybe it will help you in the future I’m a not young professional Realtor trying to dominate my market in the real estate business. I am a retired executive from a Fortune 50 company. I spent 30+ years in the company and made my way from a part time clerk in a plant in south Mississippi to a Vice President position in mid-town Manhattan, New York City. I tell you this to remind you, as I often remined my employees, never assume you have all the answers. Check out what they are telling you and if the facts are true then take the proper action, if not true them explain WHY they are not true and then you both can move on.
After I retired, I decided to try my luck as a Realtor. I had always had an interest and so I started at the bottom and worked my way up to a reasonable level of performance.
I just want to do you thank you for at least being honest. That is a first for your company. SetSchedule took my hard earned $750, and failed to produce anything that I had been promised and have no intention of doing anything about it. I hope your company doesn’t do the same thing to you.
I wish I had an opportunity to return the favor. I thought I would provide you with a recap of my adventures with SetSchedule. You probably don’t care but here it is anyway.
It has been almost 2 years since I agreed to your process, signed up and paid $750 to subscribe to your Bronze Program. As described to me and in the agreement, I would receive 3 “SetSchedule” meeting appointments with potential buyers or sellers who were interested in selling their home or buyers who were looking to purchase a home. So far, I have received nothing of value.
My first “Set Schedule” appointment was received on 10/23/2017. “Great”, I’m thinking this works. The appointment was with Mr. Lawrence Fowler at 8997 Winding Way Germantown, TN. The meeting was scheduled for 6:00 pm on 10/24/2017. Great, this is in a really nice neighborhood and the house should be in really good condition. So, I spent a fair amount of time preparing for the listing appointment; gathering sold comps in the area as well as looking into the “For Sale” competition, all the things any good Realtor would do to prepare to present a valid picture to your client. About 3:00 pm on the 24th, the day of the appointment, I called Mr. Fowler to confirm our appointment at 6:00pm. He had no idea what I was talking about. In addition, he let me know in no uncertain terms he had no intention of selling his home. I apologized to Mr. Fowler for the obvious mix up. I
called SetSchedule and was assured that there must have been some kind of a mix up. An apology was offered and I was told that they would simply replace that contact so I still had 3 prospects to come.
The second “Set Schedule” was sent to me on 11/21/17 for Mr. James Webb on New Ballard Rd. “Homeowner wants to speak with an agent tomorrow, at 08:00 AM, in regards to selling.” (No address just the road name. Fortunately, I know how to get the physical address). “Looking to possibly list and move to a smaller place in the same city, and would like to review the options.” The good news is Mr. Webb was expecting me and did meet with me. The bad news was that he had been in his new home only a few months and was simply interested in the value today versus what he paid. Fortunately, I had done my homework so I was able to give him a “today’s value” quote which was only slightly higher than his purchase price. As for his desire to move to a smaller home in the same area, not true. He simply wanted to know his value versus some smaller homes being built in a development adjacent to his location.
Again, I called SetSchedule and discussed that this was NOT a listing appointment and again apologies and the promise to replace the lead so I still have 3 promised set appointments.
The third “Set Schedule” was sent on 11/21/17, WOW, 2 in the same day! This one was for Mr. William Strong at 9255 Dogwood Rd. Germantown, Tn (great area, excitement increases). Met with Mr & Mrs Strong on 11/22/17, really nice people but had no intention of selling. They had been in this house for a long time, they have added on to the house several times and was simply curious about the current market value.
Again, I called SetSchedule and discussed that this was NOT a listing appointment and again apologies and the promise to replace the lead so I still gave 3 promised set appointments.
RECALL!!! Great!!! Mr. James Webb in Piperton, homeowner wants to speak with an agent in regards to home value and market reports, and to review options tomorrow at 11:00 AM. I thought this was a bit unusual because it was “scheduled” for January 4th. I’m thinking he is going do something after all…. Nope. I show up ready to do some business, and THERE IS NOBODY HOME !!
The claim is that you will provide scheduled appointments with home owners who want to list their home for sale. This is simply not true! What they do is call homeowners and ask if they are interested in knowing the value of their home, VERY FEW, if anyone, would say no thanks. Then they send the contact information to a fish like me who took their bait. They call this a listing appointment and send it to me, or another poor soul who bought the “line” that they would be receiving some number Set Listing Appointments. So far, I have received these “Listing Appointments”
1. No idea what I was talking about and refused to see me. This could have been an embarrassing situation for everyone had I not called in advance to confirm the “Set Schedule”
2. This homeowner did meet with me, however but had no intention of listing his home.
3. This gentleman was simply curious about the value of his NEW home.
4. This was a repeat of #3 but the “prospect” was not home at the time of the so-called Set Schedule “listing appointment”.
I’ve had numerous conversations with multiple individuals in your organization regarding refunding my money but so far, they will not, I’m sure they fear setting a precedent. I’m sure they do not want do anything that might acknowledge this is not working and somebody owes me $750, not counting the time and cost to run down these useless “leads”.
THE NEW SET SCHEDULE
My first question is what happened to the original agreement we had? If these leads are such a good thing, why don’t you contact them and “set a schedule” for me to meet with them? The new “set schedule” sends you a text message about a “hot new lead” in your area. You go to the app, click on the lead and you pay somewhere between $4.00 and $8.00 for the contact information of someone who is looking to purchase or sell a home in a particular area. I have no idea how they come up these fish. Call these folks based on the info given as soon as you pay the fee. I have had the “opportunity” to purchase several leads…. Oops, I thought I had already paid a lot of money and so far, got nothing so why am I paying again?
NEW system being used now sends a message “new lead in your area, and will include a purchase price for the property. When you attempt to find out which property the person is asking about; first you cannot tell NEW from old/existing leads in the list; also, there may be (frequently) several listed for the same amount so you cannot tell which one you are being notified about. Frequently the address listed does not exist. Sometimes REPEATS are being offered to you as NEW. Etc., etc.
In general, for me, this system is a dismal failure. I’ve talked with several people in the support organization and to their credit, they try to help out but they cannot tell new from repeats either.
Just send me back my $750.

SetSchedule is a RIP-OFF. Their “leads” are the same lousy leads you can generate yourself on Facebook and Google- for less than half their inflated prices.
I cancelled my account after a few months, and they did NOT cancel it- AND charged my credit card for nearly $2,000 for a renewal. I told them numerous times that I was not using their services, will never use their services, and to cancel my account and never bill me again.
I contacted them several times, including their “Chief Client Officer” to tell them to refund the “renewal” charge. They told me they could not cancel if after it “renewed”.
I have submitted complaints to the BBB, The CA Attorney General, and the CFCB.

PLEASE stay away from this company. The leads are very few and worthless. I’ve been using Set Schedule for a year and didn’t have a single viable lead. I called and canceled my subscription and removed my credit card from my online account, then my credit card was magically charged three days later without my permission to renew for another year ($1,600). I spent a month trying to reach a Manger to get it straight and was finally told they would not reimburse the money. I then began speaking with other users and realized it wasn’t just me- I haven’t found a single happy user.
The leads are terrible, the customer service is even worse- the company is a scam.

Terrible quality of leads. I didn’t get one good lead in a year. Then they charged me for a second year because I didn’t cancel 30’days prior to anniversary date.
